Thank you for using AnonPaste. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services. AnonPaste is built for privacy: we do not require your real-world identity, and we give you tools to control what others can see. By accessing and using AnonPaste, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
AnonPaste is built for privacy. We do not require your real-world name or government identity to use the service. Guest use is tied to an Anon ID — a pseudonymous client identifier we use to operate the service (for example, so you can manage content you created). If you create an account, you can still use privacy controls such as hiding your username from content. These privacy features are meant to help you control what other people see about you on the platform; they are not a promise of anonymity from lawful process.
Depending on the features available for a paste, you may use client-side encryption, password protection, country, IP, or VPN access controls, and advanced routing options. Choose the tools that match how sensitive your content is and who should be able to open it.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers, and we do not mine your paste content for advertising profiles or unrelated commercial data products of the kind often associated with large consumer cloud hosts. We process the limited account, Anon ID, session, security, and service information needed to run, secure, and improve AnonPaste, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
We process the information needed to provide AnonPaste, including account details you provide, your Anon ID and session identifiers, security and service logs, and the content and settings you choose to create or share.
When you submit an abuse, copyright, support, or legal request, we process the contact details, URL, and information you provide so that we can review and respond to it.
Some paste modes use client-side encryption. For those modes, encryption keys are not sent to us and we cannot read the decrypted content. Other paste modes are not client-side encrypted, so choose the mode that matches the sensitivity of your content.
We use information to operate and secure the service, provide account and sharing features, prevent abuse, respond to reports and requests, maintain records required by law, and improve reliability.
We use user reports, technical safeguards, and limited human review to address suspected abuse. We cannot review every paste. Automated assistance may help identify suspected spam, but it does not make enforcement or legal-disclosure decisions.
Where age assurance is required for access to sensitive content, we may offer one or more certified age-assurance options. These may include a client-side certified age service and/or a third-party certified age service. We retain a limited verification outcome and reference needed to apply the result, and your browser may retain age-status information for a limited period. The options shown to you can vary by location and available providers.
Content you make public may be accessible, indexed, shared, or discovered by other people. Content shared by link may be accessible to anyone who has the required link or access credentials. Do not share information that you do not want others to access.
We may disclose information when required or permitted by applicable law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect people from harm, or to investigate and enforce our terms.
Retention depends on the information and feature involved. Pastes follow the expiration and deletion choices available for that paste. When content is deleted, it is removed from active systems; limited copies may remain temporarily in backups and logs before scheduled deletion.
We retain account, security, report, payment, and legal-request information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You can also manage available account and cookie preferences. To make a privacy request, contact [email protected].
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Our infrastructure and providers may process information in multiple countries; where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment-card details. We may retain subscription and billing metadata needed to provide paid features and manage your account.
If you use an integration such as the Discord bot, we process the identifiers and command information needed to provide that integration, enforce limits, and prevent abuse.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version and its effective date on this page. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.
Thank you for using AnonPaste, and we hope you enjoy our services.
